Hazrat Khawja Sufi Karamat Hussain (Rahmat Ullah Alaih )
|
Darbar Allah Hoo is attributed to the great Sufi master Hazrat Khawja Sufi Karamat
Hussain (Rahmat Ullah Alaih) who was born in a family of saints at Kontzilla Sharif,
a town in District Jehlum. His grandfather was a great sufi and Wali-e-Kamil of
that time. His birth was result of the prayers of his grandfather. All great saints
and Sufis of that time.gave the exhilarating and invigorating news of his birth.
He came to Gujranwala for service. Meanwhile he had bai't on hands of Hazrat Zarrien
Zarbakht Khawja Nawabuddin of Mohri Sharif, a great Sufi saint of Naqshbandi Sufi
lineage. On that very first day his Murshid gave serene attention to him and revealed
his hidden Sufi traits. He had great reverence and respect for his murshid. He had
an exemplary life; a life lead in love of murshid.
When his murshid realized that his disciple is covering salook (Path of Sufism)
very quickly, he awarded him with cloak of succession and made him custodian of
the great Sufi lineage Naqshbandia Mujaddadiya. He, likewise his predecessors great
Sufis, also conveyed the message of peace , love and harmony. He promoted the most
desirable traits of love, patience and forbearance.
Thousands of people specially
youths changed their lives through his highly amicable way of preaching and educating
people. He always attributed his Mureeden (disciples) with name of Sangi which means
friend. He preached Islam and its message of peace and love relentlessly, held and
presided hundreds of gatherings of Zikr that turned people into business of remembering
Allah and praising his beloved Prophet (peace be upon Him).
He served human beings for years, helped them purify their hearts. He used to hold
regular gatherings of Zikr weekly, monthly, biannually and annually that also includes
Urs-e-Mubarak of The Holy Prophet (Peace be upon him).
Whoever came to him he always taught him the right path, the path and Allah and
His Prophets and His friends, and educated him the way of remembering Allah and
always prayed for them "O Allah , I have done what was unto me, now only You can
turn his heart toward You as only You are the Maqlab-ul-Qaloob" (One who can turn
hearts).
Before moving to the eternity he performed Hajj and after returning back, with the
permission of The Holy Prophet (Peace be upon him) he appointed his son Hazrat Khawja
Muneer Hussain as his successor and custodian of the great Sufi lineage Naqshbandia
Mujaddadiya. He announced his life to be 63 years (as conveyed) and finally the time came on 11-1-1981
when he left this world for eternity with remembrance of Allah and praise of His
beloved Prophet (Peace be upon him ). He left thousands of disciples and mureedeen.
His blessed shrine is located in Gujranwala which is center of spirituality in the
region.

Hazrat Khawja Muneer Hussain (Rahmat Ullah Alaih )

Hazrat Khawja Sufi Karamt Hussain's divinely blessed eyes selected Hazrat Khawja Muneer
Hussain from his children for commencement of the Naqshbandiya lineage of Sufi saints.
He was born in family of saints. He started learning all ethics and values of Sufism
from lap of his mother. His father trained and groomed him; that enhanced his zeal
and love for Sufism. In his childhood he remained occupied in acquiring knowledge
and serving his father and the Astana Aaliya (the house of saints). He was responsible
to provide mureeden "langar" (food) and baording at the Aastana Aaliya. He fulfilled
his responsibility considering it as a blessing. It was also part of his duties to
hold Mahfil-e-Zikr and Milad Sharif on the Aastana regualary.
Just before his path to eternity , Hazrat Khawja Sufi Karamat Hussain (R.A) addressed
his mureedeen. "O my sangis (freinds) I have been serving you for years in turning
hearts from the world to Allah.It was not just spiritual guidance but also a cherished
friendship and amity with my sangis. Now my successor is my son Muneer Hussain who
will continue this great work of turning people's heart toward Allah Almighty. His
words will be of mine and one who will consider him just Muneer Hussain will find
nothing and one who will consider him my successor will find everything. Now onward
he will come to you for holding gatherings of Zikr and Milad Sharif".
He continued holding gatherings of Zikr and Milad Sharif throughout the country
and abroad regularly with great love and passion and turned thousands of people's
heart toward Allah Almighty in the country and abroad. The key purpose of all these
gatherings was to turn people toward Allah's remembrance and increase love for Sunna
of The Holy Prophet (peace be upon him). He traveled in Pakistan and all around
the world to spread message of peace, love and harmony and God fearing. He served
human being relentlessly to deliver such teachings and guidance that could purify
their hearts and make them closer to Allah Almighty. Through his impressive and
blessed way of preaching Islam, a large number of non muslims embraced Islam.
Then time came when, the great Sufi, the great preacher of Islam left this world
for eternity having the Quranic words for the blessed ones, "Irjayee Ilaa Rabbiki
Radia tam Mardiya" and the Zikr "Allah Hoo" on his tongue. Beofore that he appointed
his son Hazrat Khawja Naveed Hussain, with the approval of the Holy Prophet (peace
be upon him) as his successor and custodian of the great Sufi lineage.

Hazrat Khawja Naveed Hussain (Damat Barkatuhum ul Aaliya)

The glad tidings of the arrival of the great heir and custodian of the Naqshbandiya
Mujaddadiya Sufi lineage were given by great Sufi masters of all Sufi lineages.
They all had smelled the fragrance of Tareeqat and then expressed the same views about his birth. When
on 3rd March, 1976 he opened his eyes in the garden of Ma’arfat, spiritual bliss
and happiness harbored. He was named Naveed Hussain, but in child hood, was called
with nick name of “Peer Rumiâ€. Once his grand father brought a beautiful cloak from
Madina Munawwara when he got him put it on, he exclaimed “How beautiful my Rumi
Peer looks!â€. It is result of the paryers of his father , grandfather and other
Suif saints that Hazrat Khawja Naveed Hussain is successfully running all matters
of the Naqshbandiya Sufi lineage.
He often says that he is performing his duty not considering it as the responsibility
that his father and grandfather enjoined him to perform, rather a duty of serving human beings
enjoined by the Holy Prophet (Peace be upon him) and all predecessor Sufi masters.
He says he learnt lesson of love, peace and harmony from his predecessors and now
he is disseminating it. He says that All they (he and his predecessors) have is peace ,harmony and love for every one without
distinction of race , region and cast, and no words of hatred and prejudice are in dictionary
of friends of Allah.
According to the way his predessors Sufis , he regulary holds gatherings of Zikr and Milad
Sharid weekly, monthly , and anuually that includes, Urse-e-Mubarak Hazrat Muhamad
(Peace be upon him) in Juanary, Urs of Hazrat Khawja Sufi Karamt Hussain (R.A) in
first week of June and Khtam-e-Paak of Hazrat Khawja Muneer Hussain (R.A) in first
week of September in which thousand of Mureedeen and lovers of Tareeqat and Sufism
come and are blessed with spirtual satisfaction and peace of mind. In these important
events no other matters can interfer the proceedings of the successful accomplishment
of these events. Preparation of these great events is very important and Khawja Naveed
Hussain (Damat Barkatuhum ul Aaliya) give his full attaention to it giving up
all other engagements.
Hazrat Khawja Naveed Hussain (Damat Barkatuhum ul Aaliya) has started building a
very beatiful and state of the art Darbar Sharif at the place where the souls of
his father and grandfather are taking rest in peace. This building is model of Islamic
art and architecture. It is located in populous part of the city; promoting
Zikr-e-Ellahi and Milad Sharif. Now it is in last phase of completion. He has also
built a beautiful masjid adjacent to the Darbar Sharif where prayer is offered 5
times a day in congregation and Khatm-e-Khawjgan is offered at least twice after
Fajr and after Maghrab every day. In addition to it, a library has also been established
for public and mureedeen that help them satiate their thirst of knowledge. This
library will be expanded later. At Darbar Sharif there is special room dedicated
for Tabarrukaat-e-Nabwayya (Sal Allah Alaih Wasllam). Every one who visits Darbar
Allah Hoo can view these histirical and blessed articles.
Hazrat Khawja Naveed Hussain (Damat Barkatuhum ul Aaliya) has always made him available
for social welfare. He helps poor and needy people all the time and make special
arrangements in Ramadan to fulfill their needs.
He visits all regions of the country and abroad,Gulf , Europe and America to preach Islam
and spread message of peace, love and harmony. All visits are prescheduled and will be

In short, the way Hazrat Khawja Naveed Hussain (Damat Barkatuhum ul Aaliya) is serving
the humanity for the cause of remembering Allah , promoting love for The Holy Prophet
(Peace be upon him), peace , harmony and managing all matters of
Darbar Sharif with full dedication and devotion is not less than any miracle.
May he live long and keep on guiding us, helping us purifying our hearts, turning
our hearts from world to Allah Almighty.
